Batteries and big data

29/03/21

The mini-project on ‘Batteries and big data’ has just concluded. The project addressed the difficulties associated with managing increasingly large amounts of data in the battery research community.

It aimed to automate the labour-intensive processes involved with data de-cluttering and management, as well as standardise procedures. A software tool, Galvaniser, has been developed in the project ‘Galvanalyser: A Battery Test Database’.

The Oxford team, led by Professor David Howey, hope to make Galvanalyser openly available soon.
