Prototyping an IoT platform for automated IP licensing payments
29/03/21
A new automated licensing payment platform could pave the way for a more trusted, transparent licensing payment system. Developed by the Innovation and Intellectual Property lab, at the University of Cambridge, with funding from the Pitch-In project, this system is ideal for today’s digital economy in which increasingly more products contain many different assets, each of which requires its own intellectual property agreement.
A new working paper, published by Cambridge, contrasts this new system to the existing linear licensing models.
The final PI report (M19) is also published here on the Pitch-In website.
